Level 2
Chat pair-programmer
Lets an agent edit files, but steers turn by turn.
- ▹Runs agent mode on small, clear tasks
- ▹Points at files instead of pasting code
- ▹Reads diffs before accepting
- Evidence:
- Small tasks are 2× faster; bigger tasks still stall or need rewrites.
- Avoid:
- Long single sessions that drift until the agent reintroduces old bugs.
