# Agent guide

## Commands
- Install: pnpm install
- Dev: pnpm dev (port 3000)
- Test: pnpm test:unit — must pass before you finish
- Lint/format: pnpm lint --fix

## Layout
- src/app/        routes only; keep pages thin
- src/lib/        shared logic, no React
- src/components/ UI components
- docs/specs/     feature specs — read the relevant one before starting

## Conventions
- HTTP: use src/lib/http.ts; do not add new HTTP clients
- Errors: throw AppError; never swallow errors with an empty catch
- Tests live next to code as *.test.ts (Vitest)

## Working agreement
- For changes touching more than 3 files, propose a plan first
- Write or update tests for every behavior change
- Do not edit tests to make them pass on bug-fix tasks

## Never
- Edit generated files in src/gen/
- Add dependencies without asking
- Commit secrets or .env files
